About Me

I am a Colombian anthropologist, counsellor, peacebuilder, and body-based practitioner. I’ve supported humanitarian teams and communities affected by conflict, displacement, and systemic violence across 23 countries.

My approach is rooted in Somatic Experiencing, counselling, Internal Family Systems,  trauma-sensitive mindfulness, and ancestral practices, with deep respect for culture, land, and relationships. This path took shape in a special way between 2013 and 2015 in Tumaco, Colombia, where I co-founded Respira en Colombia, an organization dedicated to integrating mindfulness and trauma-sensitive approaches in contexts of conflict and community care.

I’ve been a consultant for the United Nations, the Tibetan Government in Exile, the University of Greenwich, UNSW Sydney, and other institutions responding to humanitarian crises and structural inequality.

I believe that restoring safety, dignity, and collective well-being begins with the nervous system. My work invites regulation, presence, and deep listening, within ourselves and across the ecosystems we belong to or are part of.

I hold an MA in Peacebuilding, am a certified MBSR trainer (University of San Diego), Trauma-Sensitive Yoga facilitator (Trauma Center at Justice Resource Institute), Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, Certified Psychedelic-Assisted Therapist (Naropa University), Registered Counsellor (Applied Institute of Psychology, Australia), WiAli Facilitator of indigenous methods for trauma healing, and have trained in Transpersonal Psychology through Caminamos con Corazón, a practice-based, non-academic institute rooted in integrative and sacred medicine approaches.

My work is the result of a personal healing journey from an autoimmune illness rooted in the impact of the armed conflict in Colombia. I believe that the most valuable learning has come from being present with each of my own systemic rings of care through different methods and practices.
I continue to learn from silence, the more than human world, elders, teachers, friends, partner, family, therapists who are the true meaning-makers of my life.
